Renaissance PAC achieves safety milestone: 9 years LTI free
Renaissance Services commemorated an important safety milestone achievement in August when the Renaissance PAC (Permanent Accommodation for Contractors) at Nimr marked its 3,286th day, or nine years, without a lost time injury (LTI).
In an assembly to mark this safety milestone achievement the management team and staff were invited to the Nimr PAC “Sunrise Recreation Hall” where speakers relayed their delight at the achievement and ongoing commitment to Goal Zero, with the slogan “No harm to people and the environment.”
Renaissance PAC Nimr opened in August of the year 2000 as one of the first investment projects developed to house Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) contractors working in Oman’s interior. The Renaissance PAC project won the Oman Awards for Excellence ‘Investment Project of the Year’ in 2001.
Renaissance PAC Nimr accommodates up to 900 residents providing high standard living and recreational facilities. Renaissance has invested some RO 33 million (US$ 86 million) in the construction of two new PAC projects in Marmul and Bahja, expected to open in the first half of 2010, and which will accommodate over 2,000 residents.
