National Training Institute (NTI), a Renaissance Services subsidiary, has presented awards to four nationals in recognition of brilliant minds that have displayed initiative, innovation and relentless pursuit of excellence for this year.
HH Sayyid Tarik Bin Shabib Al Said, Renaissance Services Director, announced the award winners for the two categories, who this year are Abdulnasir Al Raisi, Said Al Noufli and Anisa Al Raissi for the Young Achievers category, and Qais Mohammed Al Yousef for winner of the Business Leader category.
Launched in 2007, the BizPro Awards is a social investment initiative by NTI that aspires to motivate Omani youth and encourage social development and direction for the national economy. All nominations are received and reviewed by KPMG Oman and it selects the winners.
The awards were presented by Guest of Honor Major-General Albert E. Whitley, CEO of Renaissance Services Stephen Thomas and GM of NTI Lawrence Alva.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Alva said, “These awards are a celebration of the passion and commitment of business leaders in Oman, recognizing successful individuals and promoting them as role models.”
Mr. Stephen Thomas added, “Like last year, I still believe this fantastic concept of the BizPro awards can be taken to even higher levels that will attract the leadership of all of corporate Oman and senior government.”
The winners of the Young Achievers Award received a scholarship award of RO2500 each, while the Business Leader received RO5000. The awards are sponsored by Renaissance Services.
