The Express 19 has a deck cargo capacity of 32 square meters and can carry a crew of four and up to twelve passengers at speeds up to 24 knots. The medium speed monohull vessel was built under Bureau VERITAS certification, designed by Technicraft, New Zealand, and with all the engineering and construction work undertaken by Nico Craft. The boat was constructed using welded seawater resistant aluminum alloy and the hull is a semi-planing type. The overall length is 23.1 meters on a molded beam of 5.6 meters and a draught of 1.2 meters.

Established to cater to the increasing demand for work boats in the region, Nico Craft currently has over ten boats under construction, five of which are steel mono hull crew boats. Nico Craft’s focus has mainly been passenger ferries, fast patrol boats, crew boats, utility boats and various commercial craft up to 40 meters LOA. Its new state-of-the-art facility has two sheds of 120 meters each with all the required machinery for vessel fabrication and maintenance, including a 200-tonne capacity Marine Travelift.
