Fujairah – Renaissance Services subsidiary Nico International, an arm of Topaz Energy and Marine, has successfully completed the first milestone activity of a project for Vopak Horizon to design, fabricate and install offshore trestles and pipes.

The Renaissance subsidiary is to construct Berth 5 & 6 of the 1.5 million cubic metres oil terminal for Vopak. The first milestone of the project was the assembly and erection of Trestle TB 4 weighing 56 metric tonnes and was completed without a single lost time injury.
The full project also consists of fabrication and erection of offshore structures weighing 1,055 metric tonnes, as well as design, fabrication and laying of offshore piping 8 kms in length, and erection of 6 Marine Loading Arms, among other assignments.
